Katie trained for "Team in Training" to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Katie, an avid Boston fan, lives in Manhattan and trained with the New York City Marathon Club. Katie was the third highest fund-raiser in the country! Hooray Katie! Her sister, Meg, and her mom, Joanne, traveled to Scottsdale Arizona to cheer her on. In an effort to give back to the community, Dr. Matarazzo and his team volunteer their services and state-of-the-art facility to patients being treated at the Dana Faber Cancer Institute in Boston. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is their adopted charity.

Katie's first marathon. Katie trained with the New York City Marathon Club. She lives in Manhattan, loves B.C. football, GO EAGLES, and works in the finance field. Katie has volunteered for a fund raiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society this March 15, 2008. She is also "Team in Training" for another fund raiser marathon in San Francisco later this year. This time, her brother, Mike, and Dad will be able to go and cheer her on!
