Meet Dr MatarazzoDr Stephen J. Matarazzo earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College and graduated Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1978. He went directly into private practice in his hometown of Quincy, MA. With a commitment to learning and always setting his sights on doing the best for every patient, he has dedicated himself to constantly continuing his education. Dr. Matarazzo attended the L.D. Pankey Institute, the Misch Implant Surgical Institute, and is a Fellow in the International Congress of Implantology. Dr Bill Strupp, widely known as one of the finest restorative dentists in the world, was his most influential mentor. World-renowned endodontist, Dr Stephen Buchanan and periodontist, Dr. Ron Nevins added critical building blocks to his "tool box" for him to help his patients. Dr. Matarazzo and his wife, Joanne, have three children, Katie, Michael and Meg. Their greatest happiness has been the time spent with them. Skiing fifty days a winter, Cape Cod and surfing in the summer. Little League baseball, soccer, field hockey, lacross, football, cheer-leading competitions and horseback riding have been a huge part of the Matarazzo family life. Their commitment to each other, their children and their practice continues to grow. Joanne continues to be an irreplaceable cog in the practice. She is the main connection to the patients with her genuine, caring and selfless ways. Dr. Pankey said, "Know your work, know your patients, have it in your heart and in your hands. Communicate just what you think is best for the patient. Tell and show the patient what optimum dental care will do for them and let them choose." Dr. Stephen Matarazzo does his best everyday to "do the right thing" for his patients, team, family and friends. In an effort to give back to the community, Dr. Matarazzo and his team volunteer their services and their state-of-the-art facility to patients who are being treated at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. The "Leukemia and Lymphoma Society" is their adopted charity. "Dentistry at its Finest" is Dr. Matarazzo's promise to his patients. Isn't this what you want for you and your family? |
